Dear Reader, Dear Members and Friends,
Some issues are too important not to be pursued. This is why I recently came together with the Bavarian Broadcasting, BR to emphasize the significance of the United States of America for Bavarian trade and also, to undermine the necessity of competition and free trade. I trust that the soon-to-be-elected Federal Government of Germany will also adhere to these principles. Therefore, further actions must include improvements in legal and economic framework conditions such as the modernization of outdated regulations: In times of digital transformation, globalization as well as individualization, we do need more flexibility such as more flexible work time conditions. Also, we do need innovation-friendly regulations regarding the use of automated and autonomous systems. At the same time though, we must not be burdened with useless regulatory bureaucracy.
In this spirit, please enjoy the 20th edition of our US Newsletter!
